Down in Front!

Down in Front! is a monthly screening of the best worst movies with MST3K style riffing. Every month our 3 favorite down in fronters, Jennie Adams, Matthew Golden and Stuart Landon with a special guest, rip apart some of the worst films in history.

Bring a Zerøday beverage and help us make fun of these terrible movies every second Friday at 9:30ish.

Check our Facebook for upcoming Down in Front! movies or subscribe to our weekly showtimes email.

#BTB Bring the Baby

Movies for parents in an environment suitable for babies. (note: not family-friendly movies)

Every Sunday, come in to see screenings of current films with special accommodations made for babies!

Midtown Cinema is now offering a special Sunday matinee screening of a first-run movie every week. For specific movies and showtimes subscribe to our weekly showtimes email.

Parents and babies are invited to attend! Lights are kept on to facilitate feedings and infant care during the show, and the volume is lowered to prevent over-stimulation or startling of babies. Nursing and bottle feeding during the movie are welcome. A table is provided for diaper changes. Free parking is available in the adjacent lot and on the street. Best part? Crying and cooing will only land you sympathetic — rather than annoyed — looks from other parent patrons.

$8.50 for parents, and babies are free!

The Edward S. Finkelstein Harrisburg Jewish Film Festival

The Edward S. Finkelstein Harrisburg Jewish Film Festival is an independent program under the auspices of the Jewish Federation of Greater Harrisburg.

Currently celebrating its 25th season, the Festival is supported by the Jewish Community Foundation of Central PA’s Harrisburg Jewish Film Festival Fund.  The Jewish Community Foundation supports and secures all of our synagogues, agencies, and the programs and activities of the Harrisburg Jewish community.

Mission Statement
Our mission is to enrich the cultural life of the Greater Harrisburg area by presenting films that reflect contemporary and historical Jewish and Israeli experiences.  The Film Festival aims to encourage Jewish and Israeli artistic expression; to foster dialogue, debate and education; and to nurture creativity in the arts through films that represent a broad spectrum of thought and opinion.
