Tipping Point PA follows four progressive activists-turned-political challengers as they fight to defend democracy in Pennsylvania.
Filmed over five years, through COVID-19, national battles over LGBTQ+ and abortion rights, BLM, immigration, and the influence of Trumpism, the film offers a view of democracy under pressure and the citizens working to help save it.
What sets Tipping Point PA apart is its intimacy and inclusivity. With a vérité style and a poetic visual approach, Tipping Point Pa reminds us of the power of persistence and speaks to anyone watching democracy falter and wonders: can ordinary people can still make a difference?
Join us for an in-person talkback with director Mary Haverstick after the show!
