Mouse Hunt follows two hapless brothers who inherit a decaying mansion, only to discover it’s worth millions—if they can oust its clever mouse resident. Mixing slapstick, dark comedy, and elaborate set pieces, it showcases real and animatronic mice in a Tom-and-Jerry‑style rivalry. Featuring Nathan Lane, Lee Evans, and Christopher Walken, it marked Gore Verbinski’s directorial debut. Despite mixed reviews, it was a box office success, praised for its visual gags and physical comedy.
