When soldiers at a military checkpoint deem his permit invalid, 12-year-old Khaled is sent back to his Palestinian village while his classmates travel across the separation wall on a school trip to the Mediterranean Sea. Deeply disappointed, Khaled sets out on his own, no matter that he doesn’t have papers, doesn’t know the way and doesn’t speak Hebrew.
